Get the standard contour or bull barrel and you won't be disappointed, the Superlight is the 243 that can be a problem finding accuracy, but even it can be a good shooter with a little patience, I have four 243 H&Rs, 3 are good shooters, two are Superlights, but have only shot one of em so far, but I expect the other Superlight will be a fine shooter for my #2 grandson. ;)

My 243 synthetic , standard barrel shoots just over an inch. When I first got it it was nearer 2", but just kept shooting it and worked on forearm and it came around.

I have a 243 also.  I scrubbed the barrel down like they say to do for break in period.  I shot 3/4 in groups.  I reload 58 grn v-max bullets and it does wonders on prairie dogs.  Still have not had a chance on a coyote. I really like mine.  Good luck and happy shooting.

same with my 243 thumbhole laminate with bull barrel,,,,started with 2" grouping at 100,,after 80 rounds or so,,it's down to a little over 1" grouping,,,,barrel break in seems to be a necessity,,,
