Well it appears some of you gentlemen and ladies were correct. Last year I purchased my first FA revolver - a model 83 Premier in 454 Casull with a 45 LC cylinder as an accesory. This was my most expensive firearm purchase to date (that means I really couldn't afford the gun). At nearly 60 years of age, I decided to buy a FA revolver as my last big firearms spend before I drift off to that big shooting range in the sky. Things didn't go as planned. Recently, I took possesion of a model 97 in 44 special. Wow! these things can shoot! My only regret is that my tired old eyes cannot compliment these fine machines. Just think if I could have purchased a FA in my prime - no maybe not as I would probably have sold my best hunting dog, hocked the farm, and got a second job to get another FA revolver. Now those 32 mags or the new 327 federals might look good beside my other two FA's in the gunsafe. And of course I am always a sucker for another 22 mag.
Just like Lays potatoe chips - bet you can't buy just one. Good shooting.
