Larry, I think it says more about the fine guys that are here on the site than it says about H&R's. We are all here because we like and enjoy these fine and fun little guns, However for a younger guy, starting out, the majority felt the Stevens was the best choice for him, and were honest enough to tell him. Many, myself included would grab one of our Handi rifles to hunt with before one of our bolt guns, but for this young man the Stevens was the better choice. Perhaps in a few years he to will become a dyed in the wool, and full fledged, "Handiholic"....<><....:)

Or perhaps his grandpa will get a Handi because it might remind him of his younger days when almost everyone grew up shooting single shots. Wouldn't that be great, they would have 2 guns between them, a Stevens and a Handi. Let the fun and shooting competitions between he and his grandpa begin!!!....<><....:)

Kyle, keep us all posted and best of luck. Any questions just come back and ask. If no questions just come back and visit, like it or not, you are part of the family now...<><....:)
