Very nice! Seems to be a shooter too. Congrats!

Here's a couple of my new rifle just for kicks;

Tikka Whitetail Hunter 7mm Rem Mag
Zeiss 4.5 x 14 x44 Conquest scope w/ turret parallex adj.
Tikka rings

100 & 200 yards;

300 yards;

Still don't have her dialed in yet. Need to find a load she likes to better the sub-MOA she's currently shooting. When I find a better load I'll post.

Power,

You're getting 2 1/2" groups at 300 yards - that's GREAT!

I have the same gun in .25-06, but I haven't shot it yet.  I have an Elite 4200 4x-16x-40mm mounted on it.

Thanks Zachary. I've been quite pleased with her since I got her. She pretty much shoots MOA right now. Haven't developed a good load for her yet but she shoot that with just about anything. Now I just need to decide between 160-175g Partitions then I'll work from there.

On a side note I had a black bear around 200 yards last night I almost shot. I've never shot one and really wasn't willing to shoot one unless it was a bigger bear. By the time I decided it was big enough (200-250 lb, ~4.5' bear) he moved behind some trees and I lost sight of him. Will probably go back up tomorrow and look around in the same area. Would have been my first kill with the new rifle but I need some advice on if bears are good eating first. The area is in the mountains and I've heard they taste like what they eat. The river bears taste like fish but the mntn. bears taste like the berrys and such. Anyone else know if this is true?
