I just read in the Tennessee Hunting and fishing guide that Tennessee and 25 other states will be participating in a mourning dove migration study. Seems that Tn and the other states in conjunction with USFWS have banded close to 85,000 doves. Gonna be along the standards as what they do for waterfowl. Can't seem to get a banded duck might as well try for some dove jewelry, gonna have to have a mighty thin lanyard to display dove bands on :-D :-D
