SS 45-70 Ultra ready to play!

I think I've finally got some time this week to get to the range, got the painting done and a good start on the gutters, barring bad weather I'll be shooting this Wednesday, s'bout time, eh! ::) ! I was talking to Digger yesterday, I figured out I have ten new to me guns to shoot, so some of em are gonna get dirty finally. I'll be shooting some factory ammo thu it along with some 300gr Barnes TSX FB handloads. Think I'll take the 38-55, 357mag, 44mag and possibly the 30-30AI, that should keep me outa trouble for a few hours!! ;D

Well its about time man , get your butt out from in front of this box and to the range , the smell of burnt powder is good for the mind & body both .  ;D

I sure do like that "camo-lamo" stock!  8)  Rather than pick up a .45-70 barrel, I may have to save up for one like that.

Good luck with the new "baby" Tim.  What I'm waiting to hear all about is your 30-30 AI.  Need to know if it is really that much better than the plain jane 30-30, or if it's just putting some make-up on the old girl.  And stimpy is right, but he forgot to add that it works better than Viagra! ;) ;D  Just back from finally getting out on Vacation.  Fryed the wiring harness on the boat motor, ordered new one, marked cables on boat with 1/2 mile red tape to avoid that again, got new harness, wrong one!, found guy who could run missing wires to make it work, out on the water Wed. night instead of Monday.  Pretty stressed there, :'( have to go inhale some powder smoke myself and all will be good with the world again. ;)  DP.
