Took a friend out to shoot today, always a good thing to get someone else intrested in Handis. Took 3 of them out to play today, 357, 45 colt and the 444 with a TruGlo red dot sight on it. Had some one post that would never hold up under the pounding, but with over 400 rounds through it, it still hits right where you're lookin.

We both broke clay birds at right at 150 paces.

The dot would just cover the clays and then they disappear.

We did 70 rounds in the 444, 100 in the 357 and only 17 in the 45. The screw holding the slider plate in the buckhorn sight broke and the plate fell out.

Found that on the ground so put it to bed till I get it fixed. Also took my Marlin 35 Rem and am convinced, I NEED to have one of those in the Handi. Ran 20 rounds of Leverevolution thru the 444 and it loves em. 40 through the 35, and after changing the sights, it was shooting better than with remington 200's. Will have to try them on some game this fall. Been working outside after comeing home, getting ready to get in the middle of some Crappie and Walleye this week when the rest of the family gets home.

I should take a nap, it's really hard work busting big rocks into gravel!
