American Eagle 38 gr Hollow Point Ammo, 1260 fps. If a rifle is sighted for 0" at 25 yrds, how low would it be 15 yrds? at 35yrds?

I couldn't tell you, but whoever does know will need to know if you are using open sights, or if scoped ( as i would imagine you are talking about ) the exact height of center of scope above bore center.

It's all going to be theory and rhetoric till you take it out and shoot it to find out.  Each rifle will be a bit different and the shooter will effect the outcome as well.

15 yards, .4 inch low, 35 yards, .2 inch low.

The ONLY person who can answer your question is YOU. Theory is fine but it's of no real value at such close ranges. Only by shooting your gun with your sights and your ammo can you determine where it will hit at those ranges. Anyone who tries to tell you they can tell you with any degree of accuracy is blowing smoke.

Sighted at 15 yrds, gun shoots an 1" low with either American Eagle or Remington Thunderbolts. The reason I was asking was, with open sights I could not zero the gun at 15 yrds, I had a choice between an inch low or an inch high, so I left low. I didn't want to modify the elevator or build another one, so I was curious as to where 0 should be, using Federals ballistics software that should be between 30-40 yrds. But I need to spend more time & ammo on this gun. Thanks for the info guys.

0 turned out to be at 30 yrds without adjusting the sights.
