I have a like new Bar 270 Safari Grade. Was hoping to keep it looking new. What is the best gun wrap/cover to use on it?

On my guns I hate to see a safe ding.
On the other hand a scuff or scar put on a rifle while hunting adds character.
I still am careful for my guns while hunting, I just have no problem buying or owning a gun that shows honest use.

I have seen shooters use queen size stockings. These breath (no rust) and provide a barrier that prevents dings in all but the most severe safe crashes.

There used to be a product called Kane Gun Chaps. The stock cover zippered over the stock and the forarm protector slid over the barrel and forarm.

It was a great product and a have a set for my 7400. I assume the company is out of business but I see them from time to time on eBay. I would highly recommend a set if you can find then. MIKE.

When I'm hunting I just wrap it in cammo duct tape. I usually just leave it on. I have a bar and ble so wrapped works fine.
