i saw a pair, both looked pretty good. they were 30 clal carbine with 7 1/2 barrels.
they were at d&d gunsmiths in clawson,mi.i dan

I may be mistaken, but did Ruger ever offer the .30 Carbine in a Flat Top? I know you can find them in the 3-screw OM style. but not too sure about the Flat Tops...

jasons right the only factory flattops were the small framed 357 and the big framed 44 mag.

i checked the shop they are not flat tops, they are 30carbine with 2 &3 digit serial #s in excellent shape. sorry about the mixup.dan

The 30 Carbine, even as an Old Model used the 44 frame, so it is larger than the OM 357. The Carbine round has higher pressure than 357. You can tell by the LOUD report when you shoot it. I believe the Carbine reound is a full case of H110 powder.
