Yes it works and it works well. I had my SS .45 ACP barrel stubbed into a 20 gauge barrel butt end and it is wonderful, a real thing of beauty....<><....:)

My 22 hornet reamed out to 7.62 Tokarev and stubbed into a Lilja  .920 barrel worked out very well.
You can't beat a Cerberus!
