H&R 50 cal SW

I have a chance to purchase a 50 S&W for 199.oo is this about right for peice

Only if you like lots of recoil! ;D If you handload, it can be loaded down, but most factory ammo ain't no joy to shoot, see the John Taffin article in the FAQs if you haven't seen it already.

Thanks Quick good article.  I do hand load might be a fun caliber to play with i found remington bullets at Midway for 39.00 a hundred.

They're $35 a hundred at Cabelas, and they have a cannelure!! Those are my next 500 project. ;)

Well I went and looked and decided I have too many projects now and let them stay their.  I just have to many other things going now
