Are you using the 10% mix or the E85 85% ethanol mix?  The only problem I could anticipate in the regular ethanol mixed fuel is less mileage and poor mixing of the oil. If you mix up your oil with the fuel and it's cloudy or forms two layers it won't work right. Could your fuel be water contaminated? Water contamination may make the stuff separate. I'd be real careful about using the E85 fuel in any vehicle or machine that wasn't designed for it. Oil mixes well with gasoline because it is a 'non polar' (technical for oil dissolving and water hating), while ethanol has more of the 'polar solvent' (water loving), which doesn't dissolve oil as well. E85 may not make a good mix for two stroke fuel.

The problem I have been having is water in the fuel. I installed a water/fuel seperator. I hope this would solve my problem. I won't know until I replace my carburator.
