Don't even have it in hand yet.....what do I need to look for/buy for while I'm waiting?  Anybody like a particular factory load in theirs? I'm looking for brass too....

Thanks Guys,

Ken

Ca'mmon you guys....I've read thru the threads to see if I can find the "secrets" but you guys don't seem to give 'em up! Can I assume these to be trouble free "thumpers"?  I noticed in a thread SOMEWHERE here that someone had offed some reading material on the 141's but perhaps the link had died. I'm still waiting on the arrival of my new toy and just hoped I could spend the time waiting on research. Any help would be appreciated.

I also found somewhere that the butt stock interchanges with an 870...is that true or not? That explains why they come up so well. I handled one a few years ago but haven't touched the one I bought.

Sounds like parts are hard to find so...what fails?

Thanks in advance.

I have a couple of 14s,and 141s ,all in 35 Rem, I load all of my own ammo, and use Sierra, or Hornady,200gr R.N. bullets. One particular Mod 14 that I have will astonish most people that see the results of of my 5 shot groups @ 100 yards ! I have been offered many Remington ,Winchester, and even a Kimber rifle ,as  even up trades. I'll never give up my 14s or 141s . They are great little guns ,and I'm sure you will enjoy yours. I really enjoy mine.
