That was a great deal whatever the year of manufacture! If you do a search there were some recent threads on ammo for the 243. Most will like 100gr but some are finicky and you need to go with lower ones. I used the Federal Powershok 100gr on mine and plan to try some Fusions and some Powershoks in the smaller grain to see if I cannot get some smaller groups. I haven't done any of the mods that are listed in the stickies here yet, that will be a further development once I try these other loads.
