I'm always a bit suspicious of the level of knowledge of someone who writes "ordinance" when they mean "ordnance."

Or "collage" when they are describing their educational level, for that matter.

Sometines I thenk peopel rely on pellchek tooo much!  ordinance........ collage ......... nope spellcheck didn't pick up on it................ ::)

I will confess to not remembering the name of one of our more famous predecessors oft quoted as saying that he had no respect for someone who knew only ONE way to spell a given word.
