Tis the season....
« on: July 31, 2003, 03:39:12 AM »
Tis the season to prep yourself for the upcoming upland seasons, that is.  If you haven't shot your scattergun since last fall, it's prime time to get out to the local trap, skeet, or clays range and tune up, or just get a buddy to toss you a few targets with a hand thrower.  Yes, shooting a shotun is much like riding a bike (for me anyway) but it always helps to tune up the pointing and follow-throughs.  Dove season is a month away, as are some early teal seasons, and my all time favorite, early Canada goose season in South Dakota!!  (although since I'm officially a non-resident, I am not allowed to partake in such delights any longer :(, but the Iowa teal season is fast approaching, and I got some good spots scouted out!  So get out there, have some fun with some friends or even better, your kids, and shoot some cly birds so you don't embarass yourself, or worse, wound birds this coming fall!
