OK same critter slimmer lines. But why not just use full moon clips instead of making an auto rim? That way both 10 and 40 can be used. The idea of the auto rim 45 was to be able to not use the full or 1/2 moon clips in a revolver. And the last auto rim did not last long in the 9mm version from Federal for the S&W J frames or the Ruger 101's.
I have not seen a bunch of 10 on shelves lately and there are not a lot of loadings in the catalogs so it would need to be able to shoot both.

works fine for me ! guess it could be used with clips or rims !
had a S&W 610 , it was nice ! in five shot or 4 shot pocket size it would be a keeper !

I want to get an older 610 with out the lock on the side. Or do I? Why did you get rid of yours?

to be such a large gun it had less power than either the 41 mag. or 44 mag , the clips were extra expense and loading the clips required a tool and extra time . But if it offered better than 357 performance in a pocket gun , well that's different !
