Congrats on your safe.  My wife bought me a 10 gun safe several years ago but said I didn't need to fill all the spaces.  Bummer!

That's a great gift. You have a lot of planning to do.

Don't worry, it will fill up faster than you think. I have a 12 and a 25, and still need another.

Congrats on the nice gift! Tell him he needs to fill it for you now.

Be very careful about letting the wife buy you a gun case!

That is just an indiscreet trick they use to keep track of how many guns you own!

They will ask to see how it looks with your guns inside, and then count the empty slots that are left!

I got two 25 gun cases from mine. And she's getting me another 10 for Christmas. I reckon I am blessed. Shes got a 10 that's full though.

That's definitely a challenge.  Good luck!

It's the middle one here.
http://www.remington.com/products/licensed_products/safes/sportsman.asp

It was an awesome gift.
Dad got my brother and I both one.
I was able to get my guns in one side and have room for three more.
Put the shelves in the other side for documents and such.

They did have an ulterior motive though.
It was really to keep the grand kids safely away from the guns.

Now that I have given them a grandson my purpose is done.:)

In laws also got me a gun cleaning kit for most cal. between .17 and 12g.
