Mossberg 935
« on: December 16, 2007, 06:36:44 AM »
Though I wasn't in the market for a semi-auto, this gun was priced right. $425 for a 935 28" full camo, 24" turkey barrel with fiber optics, and 6 chokes. The fella also threw in a double gun hard case. It will not cycle 23/4" but I have plenty of others that will. Being 1/2lbs lighter than an 11-87, I expected recoil that of my 870 super mag but I think its about the same as an 11-87. Wasn't sure what to think of the over-bored barrels, but with a pattern master this gun produces awesome patterns. Very happy with the performance and function of this budget waterfowl auto. This being my first Mossberg I didn't know what to expect but am very happy and went out a week later an picked up a 500 20ga combo. All of this being said, my dad just got a SX3 which is probably the nicest auto I have shot. Super fast and virtually no recoil. This gun sets itself far apart from the Mossberg and 11-87. Hope to get one soon.
