Most anything will "FIT" as you put it on anything. The question is - will it be right?
A shotgun isn't going to be shot at a range of more than 150 yards, which means that you have to keep the scope on center line with the bore of the shotgun or else you will have problems keeping it on zero at different ranges.
Most manufacturers has charts to tell you which model of scope mount will work on which model of firearm and you can cross reference that against the model of gun that you own.
