I'd be interested to find out too.  I wonder how good these actions are.  Be a great project to put something together.

The Charles Daly rifles are good solid Mauser rifles.  I believe they are made at the same plant in Yugo/Chech Zastava whatever or where-ever.  Someone once said they were the same action as the Yugo M48/48A.  And yes, a new action wqould make for a nice project.  Hope I'm right.  Mikey.

I'm afraid you guys are a day late. The CD actions and barrelled actions were out a few years ago but they have since been dropped by CD and the product was picked up to be  sold by Remmingtion as complete rifles only. It's their new model low cost mauser actioned rifle. Don't recall the model number.

I bought one of the small .223 head sized actions thinking to build a rifle on it. After getting it and seeing how much work had to be done to it I sold it again right away. I never did see a barrelled action, they may have been of better finish.

Burrs all over, not really slicked up to be used right out of the box. Bolt did not ride freely. It needed the barrel ring trued. Unfinished and unpolished, looked like many hours of polishing to get it ready to blue. Holes that were drilled and tapped for scope mounts were off center. A real mess for the $300 I paid for it.

Some may have wanted it just the way it was and relished the idea of doing the work themselves. I didn't and sent it off to a new home. I bought mine from a gunsmith, they may be more out there still in the box.
