Vanguard Stock Replacement
« on: October 28, 2007, 02:27:35 AM »
I have a Vanguard in .223 that I am pretty  happy with except for the stock. It is a little to beefy in the forend and I was wondering if anyone has seen a quality stock that is a little thinner up front. Hogue makes a "overmolded" stock to fit and B&C also has one but I have not handled either.

thanks

I have a howa  ,which is the same gun and i put a lam. stock on it from Boyd Bros., it is thinner than the factory stock ,really like it.
I enjoy collecting guns, swaping and staying up on all the newest models. I deer, quail, squirrel and rabbit hunt.

I went with the B&C premium with the aluminum insert. Like it a lot. Have heard good reports about the Hogue with the insert too.
