Who has shot game with the .35 Whelen and what were your results?  I'm still debating buying a .35.

One moose, 4-5 caribou.  The old .35 Whelen does well and has never required more than one shot.  But mostly today I use the bow.  But I did buy a .35o Rem Mag. for the Encore recently. Stay with one load, the 225 is about ideal for most everything up here.  Serious brown bears though I'd opt for a well made 250.

One Moose, One Grizzly, and five Black Bear.  The shot at the Grizzly made the project of building my .35 Whelen well worth it.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.
