Browning Invector and Weatherby / SKB Choke Interchangeability
« on: September 13, 2007, 04:09:32 PM »
Does anyone know if the Browning Invector (NOTE NOT INVECTOR PLUS) choke tubes are interchangable with the Weatherby / SKBs?  I have  a 20 ga SKB that I need another choke tube for and came accross a Browning Invector tube on clearance.  I have seen in catalogs where it says Browning, Weatherby, Winchester, Mossberg all compatible.  I know the current Invector PLUS tubes are different.  I just don't know if there was a Browning tube before the Invector?  Thanks

Invector was Browning's first tube - which is interchangeable with Winchoke, Mossberg, etc.  The Winchoke was pretty much the beginner.  I looked at Trulock's interchangeability guide and you can confirm it yourself - it should work.  The Investor Plus tubes are indeed longer.  I have gotten my flush tubes (win-moss-etc.) from Briley for $17.95 - good people to deal with and very good products.
