BC forend same length as .45 Carbine?
« on: August 18, 2007, 09:12:35 AM »
The bug still has me...  I'm about to add a .38-55 to my .30-30 and .45 LC Carbine.  Can anyone say if the forend of the BC is the same length as the Carbine forend?  I don't think I've seen them side by side.  The Carbine forend is the same length as the Handi...  Maybe the BC forend just 'looks' like it is longer due to the longer barrels...
These guns are FUN!!

The BC and Target forends are longer than the carbine forend, ~11" compared to ~9".

Quick-
Do you happen to know the part numbers for the BC buttstock and forend?  I didn't see it on the 2007 price list in FAQ...
Thanks again,
Tim

Here is a couple side by side pics for you Dusty:

This last one is the forend from one of my ULTRA SLUGs, the 12Ga I think...

CW, thanks.  They look longer for sure.  I'm thinking that the 28 inch .38-55 barrel might look better (we all know that looks are what count anyway!) with the longer forend.
