CZ 452 spl ,17 hmr info needed

Found one in the local sporting goods store for 279$ NIB,decent wood and the metal work looks great.I was looking at a marlin in .17 hmr stnls,lam stock for a bit more but this cz looks real nice,this will be my first CZ and Im wondering if the price is good and if this model has any flaws I should know b4 i purchase one,how hard is it to mount a target turret scope with the built in rimfire scope grooves?Has anyone had one smithed to take a single piece Leopold base?

I've had an American 17hmr for a few years, great rifle, very accurate, I put B-square adapters on mine and mounted a 4-16x40 Bushnell Elite 4200 in medium Burris Sig Zees on it. I tried a Brooks spring kit in it, but the spacers didn't work, so I put an AS adjustable sear in it, but usually the Brooks kit will be all that you'll need.

Thanx Quik,where did u find the adapter bases?I cant find the .17 spl on the cz site but it looks just like the 452 .22 lux they show there.OK found the link,is anyone still selling the BKl one piece adapter,the linked site says they are no longer avaliable.

BKL is a GBO Sponsor. You should see their banner in the rotation I believe and they sponsor the Air Gun and Rimfire Rifle Forums as well so their banners are there and there is the link to them on the Home Page. You can buy directly from them anything they make. Just because a supplier doesn't have it doesn't necessarily mean that BKL doesn't have it.

BKL has adapters, but they're real tall. I don't remember where I got the adapters, but they were the lowest adapters I found other than Brooks' which I don't think are very solid. ;) The BKL 568 is a one-piece.
