Traxus MT

Any one got a set of there they have been running on anything? If so how are they doing for you? I'm looking for a tire to replace my BFG AT's and am seriously considering these. Any one got any ideas? Will mostly be ran on soft dirt and mud with some hard packed dirt. And it's a daily driver.

They offer excellent offroad traction until they wear past half. They will not wear anywhere near what your AT's can.

 I have had one set a buddie had two more. None wore past 40,000mi's. I have had two sets of BFG's go over 60,000.

I went and talked to our local man and he said the same thing about the Trxus. However the BFG AT suck in mud cause of the tight lugs. We talked it over and decided to go with the Cooper M/T's. Anybody got any good stories about these tires?

That is correct, the biggest downfall to the BFG AT is mud. But thats why they make the MT.  ::) ;D

 Cooper has been a good tire. Not sure of mileage attainable. Sure its as good as any better tire out there, certainly better than the TreXus for mileage.

Just got a price quote on Wild Country tires for 650 otd! I belive thats what Im going to go with. Everyone around here swears by them and they look like a good tire. Any way its much better than 886 for the Coopers.

i have sold and changed tires for over 10 years and i always find my self going back to the good old bfg mud terrain pay the money its worth it i have tried almost everything never wearing a set of tires out yet

I liked the Truxus MT that I had at first.  Then they wore and became LOUD!  Now, I am running the Cooper Discoverer STT and while I only have 6000 miles on them, they are wearing awesome, are quite for how agressive and are showing minimal wear.  Superb!
