45-70 and Sports South
« on: June 29, 2007, 10:53:39 PM »
I went to order a 45-70 at Walmart  and found out that Sports South is out of them, and a lot of other NEF products. Does anyone know if they usually replenish their inventory frequently? I may have to actually send in my receiver to get a barrel from the factory. Anyone with any insight?

SSI is out of 45-70 most of the time, they seldom have them. RR has them all in stock.

Thanks for the info Tim! With FFL fees being so high around here it's most likely cheaper to buy another model and sell the barrel.  Thanks again!

You might check around, there may be a private party that does transfers for less. RR's shipping was less than $17 for a .243 Ultra to me, my dealer charges $20.
