Well, I did it again.  I stopped into K&K Guns to see what is new, and they had a used Ultra Varmint in .223.  I am going to be $149.95, + 9.25% tax, poorer this afternoon.  At least I'll be able to shoot all of the .223 ammo that I have left over from the AR-15 that I used to have.  I'm going to have to stop going to the gun shops and shows before I go broke!

Actually, I have been waiting for one to show up in the local shops for the last 9 months, so this is a great opportunity.  And the price is right!

woodchukhntr,  You will like your new find if it shoots as well as mine.  I have a handload that's a real tack driver and as I understand, most of the .223 Handi's are shooters.  $150.00 is a price that is way too good to turn down.

You will love it mine shoots several different brands and weights with outstanding results.

Mine is not the ultra, but it is a shooter for sure.  I just wouldn't get your hopes up too high about using the AR ammo.  I found mine to be a little picky with the factory ammo it really likes.  Any surplus and especially wolf ain't worth @#$% in my handi. Only good thing with the LC brass I have from surplus will be when I decide to start reloading.  Good luck with it.
