One of the guys i work with offered me a scope today at a price that i could not pass up , got a NcStar 10x40x40 with lighted ret. , 4" sunshade and flip up lens caps , new in the box for $40 , now its mounted on my 22-250 Handi just in time for Hooker .  ;D

I'm not really one for cheap glass, but if it's on your 22-250 I believe you should be just fine...plus at 2 double sawbucks you ain't out much if it doesn't ;D

At that much power many scopes get dark.
Unless you got yourself a Nightforce....VERY NICE  8)

Stimpy let us know how it does on the PD shoot. Good luck to all of you there. Have fun and be safe. I think you should take the 45-70 for the ones under 100 yards. LOL  ;D

Dale

Took the 45/70 last year just for fun , this year its the 41 GNR .

Aaron

I'll see how it does at about 10 to 20 power , don't think i'll ever need the 40x , and your right about the cheaper glass getting fuzzy at the higher ranges .
