I may just have to try this and see what it turns out like , i've got a rough set of pallet woods that if all else fails i can sand them down and re-paint them .

I thought it would be interesting to try. I bet it would look and feel real good taken to a Synthetic Handi....

Nice, you would still need a durable finish on it though.

I think that I will try that on the Savage 22 that I bought.
