OUT DONE BY AN 8 YEAR-OLD

I SIGHTED IN MY .357 HANDI YESTERDAY ( I USED .38 SPL. +P ) I WAS SHOOTING AT A TARGET AT 25 YRDS. USED A BSA RED DOT SCOPE . MADE ONE HOLE AT 25 YRDS , SO I SET UP A HALF GALLON JUG OF WATER AT 75 YRDS, NAILED IT WITH THE FIRST SHOT.SO I FILLED A 12 OZ. WATER BOTTLE AND PLACED IT AT 100 YRDS , ABOUT THIS TIME MY 8 YR OLD SON WALKED UP AND WANTED TO SHOOT. AFTER I MISSED, OH!  3 OR 4 TIMES, MY MY 8 YR OLD SON SAID AGAIN....DAD, LET ME SHOOT ,SO I DID .........YOU GUESSED IT HE NAILED IT AT 100 YRDS . HE WAS TO SAY THE LEAST EXCITED ! I WAS TOO! WE MADE A GREAT MEMORY.

yeah, his heads in the clouds............going to take him on his first deer hunt this fall, guess what gun he wants to use...yep the .357  right before the season comes in i'll site it in with .357 mags.

a long time ago i was hiking in the woods with my dad we had a ruger single six with us on the way back we stop to shoot some coke cans , he missed this one like 3 or 4 times and on the first shot i nailed it that was about ten years ago and we still talk about it . now that i'm 1200 miles away from my dad i really love thinking back on the times we had like that one .


its great to see you made  a great memory with your son keep it up

 oh and this is just the beginning he'll start shooting better then you every time here soon
