I almost have to kick them out of my way to get to my car.  I haven’t got to go out shooting them yet as the ticks seem real thick this summer and anything I put on doesn’t seem to deter them much.  I am wondering what the cold snap that nipped most of the oaks in the bud this spring will do to the acorn supply.  It may be slim pickens for the squirrels, turkeys and deer this fall and winter.

I went out with my son, Sunday.  I only saw one, and didn't get a shot off.

I share the same concern regarding the late freeze.
