I saw a new S&W 629 44mag 2.5" ported barrel backpacker model the other day. It's got a hi-viz front sight, 6 shots, with bear tracks etched on the cylinder. Anyone have one of these, or heard much about them? Any data out there on velocity, recoil, etc.?
I live in AK and have been evaluating various carry options for revolvers (44 mag being the smallest I'd consider). I'm new to this forum, but have read alot and learned a bunch from it.
