« on: February 26, 2007, 08:44:07 AM »
Hey there guys, i am chomping at the bit to have a little .22 lr in the nef, i would just be using it for a truck gun, shooting mostly pdogs. I was just wondering how much would one cost me? I was hoping like 100 bucks or cheaper. is shell system an extracter or ejecter? I was just curious on that, it wont matter any. Thanks guys. Henry.

Hey Henry.I picked mine up new unfired about a month ago at a gun show.He was asking $140 with a cheap scope.Got it for $120 with the same scope. It was a new old stock gun with out the sites on the barrel.Which is what I was looking for.I feel I got a good deal.It likes the the cheap stuff real well.Remington bulk.I tried several differant brand before them and it'll shoot 1/2"or less at 50yds.Dave

Hey there again, I just got back from walmart and i wasnt able to find a .22 lr with open sights but i did find the sportster. I will probly end up getting it. but i figured that i would see if you guys knew which one has open sights. the only one i could find was the youth combos. so if you guys could let me know that would be awesome! thanks for your generous help.

I think you'll find that both 22Lr Sportsters have open sights, that's how they've been coming lately. Walmart's supplier has both in stock.

They have more than one book, it may not be in the special order book, have em check the other one. Their book may also show it having a scope rail, but you'll get whatever Sports South sends them, and I think that will be one with sights, those that have bought them recently had sights.

I don't think so, Sports South is going to send what they have, but it may not hurt for them to ask Sports South when they check inventory which they should do before they order it.
