CRAZY HANDI-HOLIC?
« on: February 19, 2007, 09:14:45 AM »
Would I be nuts to sell my weatherby over under 12g to buy
a topper and two handis.
I don't shoot the weatherby because its to pretty to carry.
Allways take my old mossberg 20g pump.

I would think in the 500 or 600 range if he was going to get three guns from the money of selling it. I would sell it if I did not use it and buy guns I would use. I would not even look back. Good luck partsman I would go for it.

i personally am a big over/under fan.  does this gun overlap with another or more that you already own??  if it was the only o/u i had i would keep it but that is just me.  if you prefer to shoot the pump then by all means do it.  The choice is yours, good luck with it.

Most Weatherby O/U's are real nice shotguns...they balance good..and shoot where your aiming...If you just don't want it..then trade away..if you really don't want to part with it..then don't...You can look at it this way...What is the replacement cost of that quality O/U ?...The look at what you wanting to get...Is it really worth selling and then replacing it?...Is it really what you want? New Weatherby O/U's aren't cheap...Even if your not planning on using it right away..consider everything before you leap...

He is offering $550.
I booked it at $600 for 100%
Fair price to me.
Nice gun but I just don't ever seem to shoot it.
