Limited Edition Handi??

I ran across a Handi in 270 with a laminate stock that had a little brass "coin" on the stock that said it was a limited edition.  No checkering on either the forend or stock.  It was the only one in the store like it.  I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the limited edition Handis (how many, what caliber, options, etc.).  Thanks...

I bought one about a year ago with a .223 bull barrel on it. It's in right now waiting on an accessory barrel. They are the same as the Ultra Hunter stocks without the checkering. Not sure how many they made or in what calibers but I like mine.

Yep. I found a 20 gauge in a pawn shop several years ago with the Special Edition stocks. I used it for a couple seasons on my 30-30 Carbine, which I have BC stocks on now. Of course, in this photo the shell carrier is covering the medallion.
