If free floating my Vanguard 257 does not improve groups I am thinking about the Bell and Carlson Medalist stock. Anyone have any experience with this stock?

I have ordered one for a custom Howa I'm building.  If you want to get your hands on one just head to your local gun shop and look at the Vanguard Sub-MOA model.  It's the exact same stock.
I like blowin' big holes in stuff...

Yes.  I bought one for my Browning 260 Stalker.  I loved the slenderness of the Browning and the Medalist is a bit thicker.  You notice it in the wrist in particular.   I missed that skinny feeling and didn't initially take to the Medalist at first but here are some points I noted after using it a while:
* The recoil pad is excellent
* everything aligned as it should and installing was a snap.   I did feel the need to sand the slightest bit of the barrel channel but that might have just been a head game.
* I noticed my floorplate aligned better and was more snug\secure
* I was surprised to find my action was noticeably smoother cycling -this was unexpected and rather exciting
* the on-again-off-again groupings with my preferred ammo disappeared and consistency emerged
* it shoots a wider range of ammo accurately and closer to the same impact point
* I got my first ever one hole 3 shot group at 100 yards ( and I mean one tiny hole) with it.
I know everyone touts MacMillans and perhaps they feel better but I can't see them getting better results
