boots or sidekick??????

ok guys help me out....i gotta have a new pair of boots for work....but i relly WANT a new sidekick...is there anyway to take a sidekick barrel and put them on top of the toes to make steel toes out of them??????maybe i can buy the sidekick ..and just buy some battry socks  and use the plastic bags around my old boots to keep the snow out.....anyone tried this???????being a handi holic is rrEEAAALLLYYYY HARD......jb
