What kind of rings?
« on: January 28, 2007, 05:08:18 AM »
Just wandering you guys opinon on Scope rings for my new .243 Varmiter.  I am not sure if standard rings allow the scope to clear the hammer?
I am putting a Nikon Buckmasters 4x14x40 on the gun and need to get pointed in the right direction of which rings to choose.
Thanks for the help
Blake

Medium height Burris Signature Zee rings should be the right height and they are self-aligning. Great stuff.

Ditto what Mclernon said.  And medium's will clear with the majority of scopes.

I know sportsmans warehouse has the regular zee's, but i dont know where to go buy them off the top of my head.  Might be easier online unless quick knows of somewhere storewise.

Best source for the Sig Zees is Midsouth or The Optic Zone, although Midway has em on sale for $25 frequently.
