It doesn't take a rocket scientist (just a country boy from the hills of north Alabama) to figure out there "ain't no BF" in this/these photos.

However, there are quite a few kool-aid sippers (on the "other" site) clearly seeing one in there, big as Dallas. Ah, the "power of suggestion".

Wonder what they also see in tea leaves or ink blots?

"To the best of my knowledge and belief" here are the facts:

The author (of the thread on the "other" website) knew this was not a BF as we (5 of us) had discussed it back in the summer of 2002.

Yet, he postured it as such and when I PM'd him over there and asked for it to be removed among the expletives he replied with included an invitation to kiss a certain part of his anatomy, et. al..

I emailed the owner of that website (as well as his moderator) and apprised them of this but apparently nothing of substance was done to validate the veracity of the claims made on that particular thread.

I don't know if they are simply that gullible or are in complicity on the deal?

From this many prudent persons may likely draw the following conclusions;

The author of the aforementioned thread is perpetrating a hoax/fraud on that website for (fill in the blanks) reason(s)?

If a person exhibits this type of behavior in one instance HOW many times is it being done in other cases?

HOW can any responsible person put any belief in ANYTHING this individual says/does?

The fish does indeed rot from the head down?

Not naming names here but this whole deal reminds me of another site and lady that sees Bigfoot is just about any picture of woods. She has one of her site that she says shows like 3 or 4 of them in it lol.

Stan Courtney is a jerk.

My son posted these three pictures on his website (under the original thread started by BM) and Courtney deleted them to avoid the public embarrassment that he has been taken for a ride up the (Spencer) creek. Or, maybe he hasn't and is simply in cahoots w/BM on the hoax all along?

He and BM (IMHO) are a match made on the river Styx.

Some folks are never gonna see eye to eye and for sure this is one topic these two never will. So far it's been kept civic enough that I've not felt the need to step in. For the record tho Powderman it is the responsibility of anyone who wishes to be thought of as a respectable researcher in ANY field to call attention to and debunk lies, shams, frauds, fakes and bad info. To not do so calls into question the integrity of the person with debunking info if they do not bring it forth.

I realize you see it as an attack on a person you still think highly of. So be it I respect that and it is your right. BUT information is being put out that some folks just plain know is not truthful and is in fact misrepresentations as if fact. If anyone knows for sure that's the case it's their responsibility to let the rest of us know.

In the matter of the photos in question I've seen and held them and looked at them under magnification. Ain't no bigfoot there. Sorry but it's not. To flatly state otherwise is a falsehood and I see nothing else one can say. Now to say "I think I see...." is perfectly valid and anyone can interpret whatever they want but to flatly say it is what it is not isn't right. That's really all John is trying to do is clarify the point with the photos I knew of for some while but had not yet seen.

True enough John and Doug are NOT on friendly terms so it's easy enough to make an assumption that any time either speaks of the other a personal attack is taking place. Perhaps at times it is just that but as long as the facts are presented in the manner in which they are being here I just don't read into that a personal attack. Yes you two are now grating on each other and it would be best to tone it down a notch or two but so far I don't think any harm has been done. I don't think John is baiting you or anyone but just restating and offering proof in his posession that comments currently being made aren't exactly factual. I've not seen the site he mentions and have no interest in doing so but here at GBO we're not gonna stand idly by and let folks say something is truth when folks know for sure it's not even if you or others think it's wrong to do so.

The "other site" where I initially saw BM's bogus thread had been advised of such and when my son offered the proof up (the same photos shown here) the site owner took them down and banned Matt.

That IMHO makes him (Stan Courtney) an accomplice to this fraudulent hoax.

As GB stated...sometimes the truth can be unpleasant or downright ugly BUT that does not change the fact it is the truth.

Also, BM was banned from another site (Kiamichi Bigfoot Research) ~2 years ago for perpetrating a similar hoax.

This "ain't" his first rodeo with these type of antics.

IMHO, the man is simply untruthful with 99.44% of his utterances along these lines.

A while back that would've been a good idea with fishing poles and a coffee pot to boot. BM is a great yarn spinner and he can keep you entertained for hours with his stories. Would've been best if he'd stuck to entertaining yarns and not got off track as his attention to detail is universally known to be suspect. Besides, with all the guys (DJ, DG, Richard, Todd & myself) and thousands of $$'s I brought in for his hunting lease(s) you'd figure perhaps he shouldn't have gotten so torqued when I didn't agree with him on his BF picture last year. Maybe, that's what happens with one-sided friendships.
