« on: January 18, 2007, 05:46:57 AM »

Try Buds Gun Shop www.BudsGunShop.com I have never used them but have heard good things. He has them listed under H & R and NEF. Lots of choices in the NEF catagory.

Don't know if there are any sponsers' toes to step on here. If there's a Sportman's warehouse close by they seem to be pretty competivie with the H&R/NEF pricing. I purchased a scope from Bud's Gun Shop and was satisfied. They are the real deal and they do usually have low prices. However, it took them about 10 days to  finally get around to shipping my scope (an eternity when you're waiting) and you will pay 3% more than the listed price if you pay by credit card. You don't discover this until you check out. don't forget to factor in the FFL transfer fee (around $25).

All those places are good except for walmart.  I have a particular distaste for that store anymore.  Other than that just find somewhere and buy one. I have a couple of local dealers within an hour of my house, so I can't say I have ever ordered a rifle online. I have ordered lots of scopes and ammo, but no guns.
