The reason you don't hear much about the accuracy of the centerfire CZs is because the owners are too busy shooting their rifles and enjoying their bughole groups to come back home and post about it.

Seriously, the centerfire accuracy is exceptional, at least in the rifles I have been associated with. Todate that includes a CZ 550 American in 7x57mm, two CZ 550 Full Stocks in 7x57mm, a CZ 550 American in 9.3.62, a CZ 527 Lux/American in .223 Remington and a CZ 527 American in .221 Fireball. I handload and with my CZ 550 American in 7x57mm I can get half inch groups at 100 yards and even shot a .216 inch group at 100 yards one time. The half inchers are lot flukes either. The same can be said for my CZ 527 Lux/American in .223 Remington. This kind of accuracy is with handloads. As far as the other rifles are concerned, one of the 7x57mm full stocks, the 9.3x62 and the .221 Fireball belong to my little brother. I glassbed my rifles as a matter of routine, my little brother does not. I think you will find that the centerfires have all the accuracy you will need and then some. Please keep in mind though, that even though CZ has a reputation for turning out accurate firearms, one or two may slip through the cracks. That is the norm with all mass production items. Tom Purdom
