Rather than tieing up one of my Handis for a couple of months having a new barrel fitted, I decided to buy the whole thing.What I didn't realize was how popular these little rifles are becoming.I wanted a 30-30, the W-mart close by here no longer sells firearms. Dicks sporting goods supplier was sold out of Handis, as was the supplier of the gun shop where I do most of my business.The gun shop owner did locate one for me about 150 miles away with a dealer in Rochester NY.It will be here on Tuesday. The Rochester dealer said it was the last Handi he had and was suprised that he had any left.It has a wood stock but I don't know if it is an ejector(I hope it is) or an extractor, but I'll take either.The shop also has a 410 snake charmer for $149 but I don't think I can do both.BUUUUUUT maybe if I do some of that creative financing I keep hearing about,and if She who must be obeyed doesn't look to close ..........
