Hello,
 I'm a new member and I concur with the search feature not working. I also had to login numerous times and had a page come up saying my password was incorrect. I also posted a want ad, had it read 53 times and no response. Don't know if no one has the item or if I can't access the answers. I' appreciate someone shedding some light on the site.

We've said it a thousand times at least, the SEARCH FEATURE IS DISABLED. We'll let you know when we're able to get it online again. If you're having log in problems that's because you're entering the WRONG password or the WRONG username pure and simple. If you enter both correctly you will be logged in. That's on your end I can't help you with that. I can change the password if you like but I can't help you log in.

If you're seeing the thread you're seeing all there is of it. Just because someone reads your for sale ad don't mean they will want the item or like the price.

Since I just joined I couldn't have seen your responses a thousand times. As far as putting in the wrong password I DIDN'T. If this your style of customer service, keep it. It's pretty sad when you ask questions and get this kind of response. I'm well aware if someone doesn't have a particular item they don't respond. All I wanted to know if anything else was affected by the lack of search. A glitch in other words.

First a little effort on your part and you would find that the search is disabled. All you have to do is go to the help and support forum (where most people ask for help) and you could see all the posts on the search problem.

As to your little comment on customer service... excuse me but how the hell do you figure you are a customer? Have you given us a damn dime? no we dont ask for your money nor would we take it if you offered it. So YOU ARE NOT A CUSTOMER you are a visitor to our house and we let you mill around and do as you like while here... make and read posts... thats about all there is for you to do. So if you do not like the place LEAVE... We get more new members every single day and I promise that you getting mad and leaving or not coming back does only one thing... robs you of the information you can gain here... does not hurt us in any way... so get pissed off an leave if you like but the damn search feature will not get fixed any faster nor will it get your ad seen or replied to any faster.

We've added the Google search back to the Forums Index Page. Use it for searching the GBO site for now. It seems to have completed the processing of the site and it appears that all results you get back will now open. We were having some limited problems with that before but it seems to have cured itself and is now returning only good results you can view.
