Question for CZ users
« on: May 17, 2006, 03:30:49 PM »
Does the full mannlicker (sp) stocked gun shhot as well as the shorter stocked gun? Does the extra wood cause any accuracy problems? I have always liked the looks of the full length stock. What is the going rate for a new, and a used NRA excellent CZ in 6.5x55? Any information would be appreciated.

it doesn't seem to hurt the accuracy on my 527fs. As i said in an earlier post i recently shot a 2" 300 yard group with it.

Question for CZ users

One-eye-Joe_ I own a CZ 550 in 7x57mm and my brother owns a CZ 550 Fullstock in 7x57mm. With handloads, my rifle will shoot 160 grain handloads into a .5 inch group. His will open the group up by another quarter of an inch. A friend of his owns a CZ 550 Full Stock in the same caliber. Billy won't say a thing about his groups. All he will say is the rifle flat puts the bullet where he aims the rifle. Please keep in mind that you can always get a rifle that is a lemon, but your chances of getting a lemon with CZ is far, far less than with some of the other manufacturers. Whittaker Guns at whittakerguns.com has the new ones listed in 6.5x55 at $538.99 a copy. With this you will have FFL to FFL transfer fee (usually $15 to $25) and shipping and handling fees (usually about $25 to your FFL) than all you have to do is pick it up and fill out the documentation. You just don't see very many used CZ rifles on the market. I have seen one full stock in 6.5x55, but it was going for a tad more than $500, which is too close to the price of a new one. Good luck. I do not own any CZ FS yet but from all that I have talked to say the FS will shoot as well as the others.

Those FS rifle sure are nice looking. I have been planning on getting one in a 22mag for a while now.
