IS M627CP 357 MAG. SS PORTED TRACKER 4" - O.K. for CA. Registration ??

 GDAY FRIENDS... IM LOOKING AT SOME OF THE TAURUS 4" 357 MAGS ON GUNBROKER FOR SALE AND CANT FIGURE OUT IF THE GUNS LISTED  SUBJECT LINE ABOVE ARE OK FOR CA. PURCHASE AND REGISTRATION ..... CAN ANY ONE HELP ..??  I LOOKED AT THE CA. HANDGUN LIST AT THE STATE ATTORNEY SIGHT , AND THEY LIST A MODEL 627 4" SS IN 357 MAG BUT THATS ALL IT SAYS ....... THEN I LOOKED AT THE  TAURUS COMPANY WEB PAGE AND THE ONLY 627 4" 357 MAG THEY HAVE IS THE TRACKER ... ??   CAN ANYONE CLARIFY FOR ME .. I WOULD HATE TO PURCHASE A GUN I CANT REGISTER ......... I cannot address what is and is not legal in CA.

But the Model 627 Taurus IS a Tracker and as I recall a Tracker Ti or at least the one I had was.

If it's not on the list as a new purchase then, NO!  If it is a private party transfer or a consignment gun (Used) then yes you can.  For a private party transfer both the seller and the buyer need to be there to do the paper work at your local shop.  You pay the fees leave the gun for the 11 days and come back after your background is done.  I would check with your local shop and see what they charge for a PPT or if they can order you one.

Gday all .........Thankyou  for the input .. I havnt found this gun in any local shops though , but found plenty of these guns on gunbroker ... On the CA. web page with the  " list" it just says .. model 627 / stainless steel .. in 357 mag ... 4" barrel .........then i checked the taurus web page for that gun ... and all they have is model  627 4" TRACKER 357 mag SS ......... i dont want to split hairs ..but I would hate to purchase a revolver i cant register here in CA. ..  kind regards ..davey
