I haven't had a chance to reload and test for my 22-250 yet, but I can tell you mine shoots best with 55gr bullets. I tried a Winchester white box of 45gr and it didn't like them as good as the remington 55gr.

33.5gr H4895 and the 50gr Vmax have shot best for me so far, that's a start load for the 50gr Sierra HP, but it shoots less that 1".

wc-846 double-based (bulk powder) or  xmr-4350 (accurate arms) for a single-based propellant.   you'll have to find out what your rifle likes.   we got great results with those powders and cci-250 primers........even with the wc-846.   Win' brass and Hornady 60 gr' bullets gave amazing groups out of my buddy's model 700 adl-syn'

good luck,

The great thing about the 22-250s I've worked with is an accurate one will shoot well with so many powders. The one I kept out of the four I've owned will shoot well with powders from imr 3031 to the 4350s with 50-55 gr bullets.I settled on 33-34grs 3031 years ago and have shot my best group ever with 50gr sierra at .226 for three shots. For another 100-150fps many use 4895 or 4064,or ww748 and hodgdon varget.

50 gr. Nosler ballistic tips with 36.5 gr of IMR4064 works in mine. Work up to this near max load watching for pressure signs.
