Update on Curdog's Chicken Sale
« on: August 18, 2006, 09:21:12 AM »
I know this is not about hog hunting but i just had to tell this on old curdo  ;D

Well it's been to hot to hunt or do just about anything, so the other evening curdog said lets go to the chicken sale.we had been drinking a few cold ones and let the wives drive.well curdog does pretty good if he just stays on a 12 pack but after that look out.By the time it was over we had a truck full of chickens, what i forgot to mention is he just wanted hens but we had a load of some of the uglyest roosters you have ever seen lol.we had to hold curdog in the truck to keep him from falling out going home and boy did he feel bad the next day.so i bet before long we will be having a cookout with alot of roosters.Curdog you can throw away your alarm clock now with all them roosters crowing at daybreak.so if your with curdog and he's had a few to drink keep him away from the chickens are you may not have a place to sit going home  ;D

here is the type of pretty roosters he gets after a 12 pack and he thinks it will make it to the fighting pit  ;D

I live in Allen, Tx and agree that it's been too darn hot to do much of anything.

I never felt the need to buy a truck load of chickens though.

Okie Hog Hun.

Obviously you dont understand the fine art  of rooster collecting on a hot sweatie day after swilling some of natures finest nectar. He had a long range plan that would garner him some big bucks so he could compete with Mr Bill Gates and feed the nation  ::) with plenty of chicken he could do a fine job ??? Have fun guys thats what life is all about.......Joe........

Curdog, is that a Cowboy rooster? It looks like he's wearing spurs.

Well, it would depend on how many roosters curdog has. If he only has two that don't tell me much.

dee, had a dog get out couple days ago and got after the chickens. killed 4 chickens and 2 guines, pulled feathers out of 10 more.....you guessed it.. HE LIVES. that red curly feather rooster is still here. i think he;s half coyote and half cockroach. and on top of that one of the bantam hens hatched out one that looks just like him.

What I want to know is did your wife give up that jack russell? The pup I kept is gonna be a dandy I think. Had the bitch spayed. She's crazy anyway, but has started trying to hunt.
